Today, our second graders became explorers at the WSD Discovery Center! They were busy all day, shooting bow and arrows, rock climbing, and hiking while discovering amazing things in nature. What a perfect day for an adventure!

Hispanic Heritage Month kicked off at Majestic today! Some of our teachers were celebrating the rich and vibrant cultures of the Hispanic community. We're looking forward to a month of learning, sharing, and honoring the contributions of Hispanic people.
The students in Sra. Torres’ class got to be math doctors for a day! They acted like surgeons, “breaking apart” arrays using the Distributive Property. They tackled problems like 4 × 6 and turned them into (4 × 2) + (4 × 4). Who knew math could be so fun?
The best pruncipals have a way of making every day feel a little more fun. ❤️ Mrs. Jacobsen is one of the best! She and a student were not planning to match today, but it's a good thing they did!
