There's nothing like Christmas carols to get you into the Holiday spirit! Majestic has the best choir! led by Mrs. Putnam, Mrs. Havey, and Mr. Putnam. Today they performed their Christmas concert for the school. It was amazing!

Mrs. Allen's 4th-grade class wrapped up Veteran's Week with a fantastic hike. After reading and studying about The Major in Coldwater Canyon, a group of them hiked the canyon together on Saturday to discuss the important lessons of service and sacrifice.
This week, the students learned about:
*The profound history of Veterans Day.
*The structure of military service, including the significance of various ranks.
*The meaning behind military honors, like the flags and ceremonies veterans receive at funerals.
Mrs. Allen said, "A highlight was sharing my dad’s Colonel uniform and letting the kids examine the ribbons and patches up close—and yes, they got to try on a silver Colonel’s hat (the highest Colonel rank)! Getting to touch and see these symbols of service truly brought our lessons to life."

Our first robotics competition was a huge success! 3 of our 4 teams made it to finals in the matches. The Megaminds team earned 1st place in the skills event. Way to go Majestic Robotics Club!

Here is some learning fun happening in Mrs. Heaton's kindergarten class!

Majestic takes on Coldwater Canyon!
What an incredible day of adventure, community, and fresh air! So proud of our Majestic students, families, and staff who conquered the trail on Wednesday!
We hiked up Coldwater Canyon, made it to the top to see the famous Major! The views were spectacular, but the company was even better.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this memorable trip. We love seeing our community come together outside the classroom!

🇺🇸 Honoring our Heroes. Veteran's Day Celebration 🇺🇸
What a special day it was to celebrate our incredible veterans! Today, we were thrilled to welcome student family members who served to eat school lunch with their loved ones. It was a wonderful opportunity to thank them in person!
We also unveiled our beautiful Wall of Honor, featuring photos and names of the brave men and women connected to our school community.
And all week, we've kept the meaning of service and sacrifice close to heart with our America's White Table display. Based on the powerful book, the white table served as a silent, visible reminder of our veterans and POW/MIA service members who are unable to be with us.
Thank you, veterans, for your courage, commitment, and sacrifice. Your service means the world to us! ❤️

❤️ Red Ribbon Week at Majestic Elementary! ❤️
This week, our school is celebrating Red Ribbon Week — a time to focus on healthy choices, kindness, and being drug-free!
Each day, our students will have short, positive announcements/discussions in class about what it means to live healthy, make safe choices, and take care of our minds and bodies. We’ll keep things age-appropriate and positive — but we know that the most powerful lessons happen at home.
💬 We challenge our Majestic parents and families:
Keep the conversation going! Talk with your child about what it means to make good choices, how to handle peer pressure, or what “being healthy” looks like in your family. These small chats help kids build confidence and values that last a lifetime.
Monday
👨👩👧 Parent tip: “Start early. Short, everyday talks build trust and keep kids safer.”
