6th Grade virtual registration
Dear Sixth Grade Parents and Students,
As an administration and counseling team at Orion Junior High, we are excited to announce 7th Grade Registration for the 2021-2022 school year. Due to COVID, we are not able to meet with you in person, but we have provided a tutorial and online resources to help you navigate the registration process. We will be registering your students online this year through the Weber School District portal. Registration is open online from Feb. 1st – Feb. 20th. Please follow the instructions below to register your student.

Required courses for the incoming 7th graders will include:
(1) credit of 7th Grade Mathematics or (Honors)
(1) credit of English 7
(1) credit of Integrated Science 7
(1) credit College & Career Awareness
(.5) credit of Utah Studies
(.5) credit of Physical Education
Elective courses will include:
(.5) credit options of Jr Art I, 3D Art I, Beginning Guitar, Choir, Theatre I, Basic Reading Skills, Advanced Reading Skills, Creative Writing, Skills for Success, Gateway to Technology
(1) credit options of Spanish I, German I, Beginning Band, Beginning Percussion, and Beginning Orchestra.
Please make careful decisions when selecting elective classes. The need for teachers, materials and classroom space is based on your elective selections.
