Community Council Meeting Notes

3/4/2024

In attendance:

Libby Jacobson, Jennie Taylor, Paul Pontius, Amanda King, Lisa Parker, Nicole Chatfield, Liz Putnam,

Melanie Tilley, Angie Francom

• Present Land Trust Budget 2024 - 2025

-Unanimous vote for approval on trust land budget proposal

-Council is glad money will be spent on more help and people in the school

-Reading aides and a Math aide will be paid for

-Keeping the same goal as this year. It is 10% higher than the district goal next year.

Goal #1 75% of students will make typical of above typical in reading

Acadience

Goal #2 76% of students will make typical or above typical in math

• Parent Night Planning

-Amanda is heading the parent night and things are going well

• Blocksi

-Libby explained how she gets notifications immediately

-Can subs have access to it. - not sure

• Character Strong

-Libby would like to implement this program at our school next year

-The council was all in agreeance and liked what the program had to offer

• Questions/Concerns/Topics of discussion for next meeting
